  1. Siegler is a role player who has had some really good moments for the Sox. He was a big part of the 15 game winning streak. He is a good guy to have around between the Sox and AAA.
  2. Franklin Arias, 3-4 with 3 RBI and his third homer tonight for Worcester. Now hitting .333. He will be the starting SS next year. John Holobetz with 4 shut out innings. .093 ERA in two starts for Worcester. Got him from the Brewers in the Quinn Priester trade. He is going to be a good starter for the Red Sox.
  3. Great game for Kyle Harrison tonight. 5 innings, 1 hit, no runs, 10 Ks. Good thing Durbin got hot. Trade was good for both teams which is what trades are supposed to be.
  4. Cedanne looks like a hitter now. The last few years, he was just a wild swinger. Huge improvement. He is only going to get better. Sox defense is really good. Gold glovers in CF, 3B, RF. Adley is really good. Willson has been above average at first. Pitching and defense can win in October especially with a good bullpen. The Sox can shorten games. I like their chances.
  5. It actually was more of Duran than Mono. Hardly anyone else on the team could have scored on that shallow fly ball.
  6. If Duran can get hot he could be huge down the stretch. He should be playing relaxed since he doesn't have to worry about being traded.
  7. Awesome trade by Breslow to get Sonny. I've seen Sonny pitch many times in Busch Stadium and he was always good. Bloom just wanted to dump his salary but the Cardinals are still paying $20 million of it.
  8. When there was one out and Monasterio up. He popped up to first.
  9. Fortunately, here in Illinois, the Red Sox broadcast is blacked out so I am getting the White Sox feed and they are decent.
  10. I would say that he performed well just last season. 91 runs, 25 HRs, 96 RBI, 29 doubles. Very few shortstops put up numbers like those. Of course, this year is a different "Story"
  11. Erik Miller making his Red Sox debut. Lets hope he's not Eric Gagne.
  12. Franklin Arias up to .281 at AAA. Hits his first two times up tonight. Next year's SS.
  13. Remember Tristin Casas? His leg is fine now. In April he strained his abdomen and went on 60 day IL. Then in June, he hurts his wrist and is back on the 60 day IL. The guy will not be back this season, if ever.
  14. If he is still on the team, he will be a long reliever I think, if and when Crochet comes back.
