Typical Durbin AB. Gets to 3-2 and takes a fastball right down the middle begging for a walk. He is horrible.

But signing him before last year was not a no brainer or else everyone else would have been after him.

Also have to give Breslow credit for signing Chapman. He has been the best reliever in baseball since they got him.

Durbin is a good fielder. Have to give him credit for that.

Typical Story AB. Strikes out flailing at a curve way out of the zone. Easy out.

The Red Sox do have some really good young LH pitchers to build around: Crochet, Early, Tolle, Bennett, plus Ranger. They just need some guys that can hit and two more good bullpen guys. Then get rid of all the other dead weight.

His only home run is off of a position player.

It they had them, they pitched through them. Most good pitchers threw multiple complete games and over 300 innings a season

Caleb Durbin would be a really good hitter if.......he was back in college playing Division III baseball for Washington University in St. Louis.

The best pitch Durbin saw there was a cookie fastball right down the middle which he took. Then he strikes out looking, begging for a walk. He is terrible.
