  4. Not what said. I was not comparing him with Sale or anybody else. Let's say they could have got a better pitcher , not necessary Pom. As for the Sale deal, it was made because of Price not being or adjusting with the climate in Boston. Having his own issues with media and twitter following fans. If Price came in top5 of CY Young voting ,Sale is not in a Red Sox uniform. I liked the Sale deal. I with some people on here said if they make one major move and go balls2the wall it would be for Sale. Happy they got him. He's an ACE!
  5. The only prospects that will be missed IMO. I'm talking maybe great players would be Moncada and Margot. The rest I can get by with. I order a prospect freeze. But when 7/31 comes DD will get the urge for trade. I know, am the old Monday morning QB. LOL
  6. He's a good pitcher. I don't think he can give you 200 innings. Just on health reasons. If he holds up for three years gives you 190/200 innings a ERA in the high 3 , the deal is good. If he breaks down or is just another pitcher in the pen.. bad deal. When you deal the #1 pitching prospect you want NO doubts. Just sort of like Sale. No he can't get someone like that alone but maybe you keep one extra good prospect stashed away. So I agree with you for the most part. He pitched great last night , hope he keeps it going. If he can stay healthy which is a big if for someone like him.

  8. Not for long. He will be fine. Would like it if Betts got going as well. This flu shat is over.
  9. It's 80 over here. They should get loose fast. They need these games. They are the old two game swing games. It has been a long layoff for Pomeranz as well. He's the one I am concerned about. I don't know if he is pitching with an injury or not. We will find out soon.

  12. Good win. Kimbrel being Kimbrel.
  13. One more curve ball on a two strike count. Not using your best pitch.
  14. Just go after MC. Don't dick around.
  15. Kimbrel making it interesting as always.
  16. What a week for Leon. Big hit there.
  17. This would be clutch . lmao.. I'm kidding. But this could be game.
  18. That one is on Porcello. Can't have that. The Red Sox continue the day late and a dollar short syndrome in this series.
  19. No more right side of the plate for panda.... isn't happening. The next time will be from left with k- rod, if they can't rally.
  20. If the bats could have a big inning. He might get a win. He's not throwing goose eggs every game.
  21. Kinsler was 7 for 17 before that hit against Pocello. Just surprised they didn't pitch around him. I didn't know that. But I'm not the manager.
  22. Pedroia 2B Benintendi LF Betts RF Young DH Moreland 1B Selsky CF Leon C Sandoval 3B Hernandez SS
  23. You have F'n Chris Sale.....moon lol... Unless DD gets a superstar in a trade, I don't trust him dealing any of the good prospects which they have left. It also will be interesting without Sale in Chicago how will Q handle being the ace by himself... It's the bullpen. Show me a great pitching staff and pen, I'll show you a great manager. The easy part is trading great prospects and getting established stars. The easy part is throwing money at free agents and see if they take it. The toughest part is building a bullpen on the cheap. The toughest part drafting the right players when it's time for the pick.
