I'm not happy what he did. I'm a big Pedy fan. I don't wanna make a bid deal out of it. He's the heart and soul of the team. He knows better. I don't like the hitting in the head stuff. I would have had Kelly or Abad nail him. Farrell ordered it. Barnes was uncomfortable doing it. Though he did it anyway. I remember back in the day that stuff stays in the clubhouse..

    I'm afraid Pedy is out of line saying it wasn't me. Plus throwing Farrell and Barnes under the bus after the game. They are having his back. Should have not said anything in the dugout. I don't think the team is happy with his comments. I guess it's water under the bridge... But I don't know. I'm very disappointed in him. Should have said nothing while on bench. Should have said no comment after game . Just leave before the media gets there. Didn't think it was cool.. That's all

    This is why the Price injury is big. Farrell has no choice. Unless it's Sale or maybe Porcello it doesn't matter, if the team's hits like this. The starting pitching and pen have been good. The bats have not. It's called life after PAPI!!

    I'll repeat what you all are saying. Panda has zero range. It will not come back in June. He has hit a couple of big bombs but overall he's stunk. With saying all of this, nobody is taking this contract. That means even if he finds his form or not. My concern and it's a big one is...we have no power at first and third. I agree Moreland has been a surprise. It's just everything is a struggle with this team scoring runs. IMO Hernandez is the utility man. He has beaten out the worn down Holt who gives you nothing. They will move Hernandez around the infield and ride the panda out. It's the right call. I agree with everybody. It just won't end well.

    I would have left Sale in. But I have NO problem Farrell bringing in Kimbrel. They don't want a 1st and 2nd with 2 out and Sale would be at 125-130 pitches. Then you say should I leave him in with the last out on the line. Or bring Kimbrel in 2 pitch from the stretch , knowing he gets wild at times, even though the stats don't say that this year. It's line checkers you get corned both ways double / triple jumped.

    A mentally tough team will respond. That will start with the manager. What I mean is 90 in the ribs. If a brawl induces so be it. Some times it's about the respect for your teammates. The respect the players have for Farrell. That's more important. A message should come out of this. As David Ortiz said before when he was playing. We are the F'N Boston Red Sox!!

    He had little choice with Barnes throwing that mess of an inning on Monday and Hembree throwing 45 pitches the other night. Ross just came off DL not a spot for him there. Abad can't be trusted yet. Kelly is Kelly. He threw 14 in the 9th. He closes the 10 th with a lead. Don't like bringing Kimbrel in with a tie game on road, but with lead... He's in there.

    The White Sox team went south as well. That 3-8 finish had something with uniforms, asking for a trade, tired of losing, not being in the race.. The Laroche thing with his kid. It all took a toll. If the Red Sox can get healthy between injuries and the flu, they will have a good year. The only thing that could stop Sale is an injury. The only way he can go 3-8 in the second half is lack of run support with the Red Sox. I be more concerned with the velocity dip as opposed a 3-8 after all star break record. Ask yourself this. If they didn't trade for Sale..

    Brock Holt is back out there. He needs more hits in his game. With Rutledge coming back and Hernandez playing IF spots in a pinch, not sure they want three super sub role players. I know he has had only 11 AB's.

    No doubt. So you would have sit Beni because Young plays against LHP. Hanley is not ready for the field. So Moreland got first. It would have been interesting who would have sat. No worries JBJ back on Friday.

    If the owners of these professional teams don't have the money 2 spend..... they should sell. They should sell the team and get the right ownership group in there. The money should be put into F/A and drafting, not counting how many hotdogs are sold, give them a winner and they will come. Most of these owners have it, with the local and national revenue contracts they can spend it... Do they do it is a different story. We have this football team I am a fan of that is at the white house today, they said the same things about them. The team with the five VL trophies. That place was a graveyard now look at what it has become....Dynasty

    If he can hit 230 with 20 Bombs , I take it. With playing third fielding routine outs. If he can hit in the post season a plus as well with the RED SOX. Not talking what he did with SF.

    They are saying, he will hit 240, when all is said. I will take that in a minute. Because of his behind the plate is grade A work. He's starting 2 pitch frame better. I thought one time he brought the glove up a little quick costing Hembree a strike out. It made Hembree throw 7-8 extra pitches. But in the end they won.

    Agree. Porcello will need a strong outing. A betting man would say Hembree and Barnes out for tonight. Kimbrel might need one more day off. A close game would factor in Ross and Kelly.... Keep scoring runs. A hot streak by Mookie will follow. Just sit back and enjoy.
