    Agree. He sat out with soreness and wet field. The other parts don't match up. But IMO if he does come back he will end up back on a maybe 10 day DL STINT. imo

    Because of trading away prospects. They could suffer an injury before, non -related with the problem you identify with the deadline. You can't really tell a teams problem in May/June It's called patching up one hole and watch another open.

    I will run this off. I like Pedy and want him here as a Red Sox for life.. Just don't like how they did it.. Farrell is the manager he ordered it, he does not need anybody's advice on the matter. What he says goes, he's the manager. I see on here why did they just do it the next day... Wright was pitching, a 75 in the ribs might not do the trick. It was the right idea, wrong players following out the plan.JMO

    It sure did. It has been addressed by the manager and with the players as well. Hopefully the team can move on from this. The only way that happens is by going on a winning streak. The whole thing was handled wrong by everyone involved. The only thing Pedy did was say the wrong thing and acted like a pussy on the NESN camera.. If you take the love from the player out of you, he should have never said that on field, plus doubling down with reporters after game. Do you think Ortiz would have done or said that stuff. I'll give you your answer............... No. I like Pedy. No trading of him. I just questioned his leadership abilities. I always said the C on the team doesn't have 2 be the best player. Case in point.. Did you see how Chris Sale had his teammates last year. It got him traded . yeah, but he had their backs. The team sucked but the respect factor was there.
