    I dunno if you could say Tampa was floundering since they were leading the division when we first played them and then went 4-2 against them. The O's are trash of course, but sweeping a four game series on the road isn't easy considering that on average even the worst teams still win one out of every three games.

    I think poor attendance has more to do with how bad the O's roster is. Why would fans pay a considerable price to watch a team of castoffs lose 75% of their games? When the O's were pretty good between 2012-16, their average attendance was 28,310. And it was 30,426 in 2014 when they made it to the ALCS. Those aren't amazing attendance numbers but they're respectable.

    I guess they benched him and Sanchez today as a courtesy to the O's. 19 HRs combined against them this year.

    Sabathia officially to the IL. I believe he went on the IL last year for the same knee issue. Has to drain the fluid, get a cortisone shot, rest, etc. I think it cost him about 3 weeks last season.

    We've been getting by without him, but I'd say it's more because of the pitching. Our hitting has been pretty mediocre when we aren't facing the O's. Maybin has done enough to not be a negative but having Stanton in the lineup over him makes a huge difference.

    I feel like I've seen Edwin Jackson pitching in the bigs for the past 20 years. This guy has sucked for awhile, I dunno how he has such longevity.

    Meh can only blame Boone for so much. Scoring 1 run in 11 innings will lose you 99% of all games.

    Well since Panda left a couple years ago and Hanley left last year, someone else needs to fill the role of fattest player on the team. Could end up being Devers though!

    I've never watched Marquez pitch but I hear he's very good. Should be a good test for him and for your offense.

    I'm on the fence about surgery. If he doesn't actually need it then I'm against it. I think the team just rushed him back too soon from rehabbing his shoulder. I'd put him on the IL for awhile and keep playing Urshela at third while he's hot. Hopefully Didi will be back before the ASB and then we can slide Torres to 2nd and LeMahieu over to 3rd (if Urshela is no longer hitting).
