  1. Still the 2nd best start in London history for Tarpley
  2. Media asked the Yanks pitchers if there was anything wrong with the mound and they actually said it was one of the better mounds they've had. Maybe every pitcher just sucked all at once?
  3. Word, you could actually say that Tanaka was 100% more effective than Porcello
  4. Since the first inning I've went to Costco, ate lunch outside, and come home for a nap. Just woke up and this s*** is still only in the 7th, good grief.
  5. Basically identical half innings for both teams. I don't think I've ever watched a first inning like that in my life.
  6. Game is on pace to last 9 hours. I'm already getting sleepy.
  7. Nice of tanaka to make this a competitive game for the Brits
  8. You can thank the Sox president for robbing your team of two home games. He thought the income potential outweighed the importance of two home games against your oldest rival. Aside from that I liked your opening statements, they set the stage for a dramatic weekend.
  9. Deivi Garcia could get the Loasiaga treatment and get called up straight from AA to start. He has to be added to the 40 man roster next year anyway so I don't think it's that outrageous of an idea. And I'm still mad that Mike King has been out all year, he'd have been perfect to slot in.
  10. I haven't looked through the Sox scores but having a high run differential with a middling record generally means that a lot of your wins have been blowouts and a lot of your losses have been close games. Is it due to luck/randomness? I guess the final 81 will tell us.
  11. How did Boston have the #4 offense and #1 pitching during the last 41 games yet they only finished 3 games over .500? I enjoy stats as much as everyone else but in this case they're misleading.
  12. On a side note with the Rays, they're currently in the 17th inning against the Twins and have been playing for over 6 hours. There have been 26 straight plate appearances between both teams without a hit. Those are the worst types of games.
  13. Casas looks like he could be a good MLB player one day but you guys are overvaluing him. He's 2-3 years away from a potential call-up and he'll likely end up playing a non-premium position (1st base). He might be your best prospect but that doesn't mean he's gonna fetch Noah Syndergaard. I don't think you would even get Shane Greene straight up for him just because there's going to be a lot of demand for high-end relievers at the deadline.
  14. The Rays have lost 11 out of their last 16. Everyone knows Tampa's real goal is to spend as little money as possible, so if they continue freefalling in July I'd expect them to sell off as many parts as they can, including their nice bullpen pieces.
  15. Stanton was healthy almost all of last year and carried the offense for much of the season. Not sure what to say about 2019. I still think he'll be productive in the 2nd half. And i think the Marlins are eating a portion of his contact too. Whereas Sandoval and Rusty are being paid richly by the Sox to stay far away from Fenway, thus prohibiting your team from getting the bullpen help it needs, or as you said, crippling it.
  16. I don't know why they'd call up Tauchman over Frazier.
  17. I have more faith in Paxton to turn things around than Happ. In either case, both have looked bad recently.
  18. I'll create the next one for you guys just to get everything back to homeostasis
  19. Now they say it's his knee and he's going for an MRI. Good grief.
  20. Sucks but doesn't seem like something that would keep him out long. Unless his hand was broken when the guy came down on it.
  21. There's no new updates here, all you did was remove Judge and Morales
  22. It looked like he was tipping his pitches somehow, or wasn't hiding the ball long enough during delivery. The grand slam was on an 0-2 count I believe and it was off of a fastball high and out of the zone. Every hitter was on every pitch he was throwing.
  23. I think Holder has reached the end of his leash. He's given up 13 runs in his past 5 innings of mop up duty. Send him down and let him re-earn his way back up to the bigs (like Chad Green did).
