  1. If you nick his head, it pops…
  2. Oh. Yeah I see the issue. Ok how about Yoshida to LF and Duran to DH so he can focus on that part of his game…
  3. Wong to DH. Yoshida to LF. Duran to WOO. Problem solved. Its also solved with Rutschman at DH..
  4. If Duran was to come out of the lineup, who would you replace him with? Jones? White? Seigler (to DH with Yoshida in LF)? All viable options. But all are just as risky (or maybe even more risky) than trying Campbell…
  5. But Duran is not fine in LF and hasn’t been all year and the limited options that don’t involve waiving a player include Campbell, Eaton, White and Jones. Or Yoshida with someone (who?) taking over at DH…
  6. But he’s getting on base like he just closed on it…
  7. For all that talk about Bloom doing some sort of fork in the road third option, he never really did one. Or much of anything at the deadline…
  8. So leave him in the clubhouse and let him burn his energy playing Dance Dance Revolution while Kristian Campbell gets a shot at redemption…
  9. Especially with Kristian Campbell just thumping AAA pitching lately. Also let’s not forget about our Spring Training Ty Cobb Impressionist - Braiden Ward. I know you won’t forget about him because I’ve done my best to make it impossible…
  10. Any chance one of these days he starts bringing some of it with him to the field?
  11. Blue Jays scoreboard was showing two outs, which probably lead to the confusion with the Sox baserunners. It’s pretty rare to have two guys on base both make that same mistake simultaneously…
  12. Yoshida isn’t much of an outfielder, but he is likely to be starting DH, at least against RHP…
  13. They’ve actually been pretty close to bring .650 team since June 1. Assuming we’re talking about team OPS and not winning percentage…
  14. And this is why bullpen games are such bad ideas. Only Slaten is rested and 3 others coming off 17 or fewer pitchers are likely available but possibly not at the top of their game. Bello is off, and Whitlock and Chapman likely as well. Hopefully Gray can go 7 strong…
  15. So now we know if the Sox ever trade for a Cubs’ outfielder, they are far more likely to target Ian Happ than Pete Crow-Armstrong…
  16. Is Campbell back on the radar?
  17. But think of the savings by not having to pay for all the letters and stitch work to put the entirety of “Witherspoon” on the back of a Sox jersey. A lesson the Sox undoubtedly learned when they parted with “Teel” and “Yorke”…
  18. Probably fine. Depends if the Sox add a pitcher and what they do with Jones and/or White.
  19. I suppose it’s a more expensive mistake…
  20. Yorke doesn’t turn 25 until next April. A bit early to even call him a bust. Teel and Monty got Crochet. That’s ok. Mayer landed Miller, so that one could burn Boston at some point. Yorke to Priester turned Holobetz and Yophery Rodriguez. Probably never know honestly.
  21. It’s certainly possible. 3 catchers is a rarity these days with only Cardinals carrying that many and that’s because Herrera never catches anymore…
