    It’s not so risky if the deal isn’t outrageous. The Braves locked up Harris ($9mill AAV) and Strider ($12.5mill AAV) in in to deals that are still movable even if they don’t continue to progress. On the free agent market today, those AAVs get you Brandon Drury and Tyler Anderson …

    I liked Jacob Wallace more than I liked Wyatt Hill. Of course at some point I should concede Bloom and company might be better at evaluating pitchers than I am. (Or at some point maybe they should concede that they are not!)

    Who said anything about taking back Haniger? My point is so far he’s the bulk of their off-season activity. (I thought they added someone else?) Either way, losing Correa this way is the type of PR blunder that can only be remedied by massively overpaying for Devers..,
