    It shouldn’t be. Dombrowski was unable to extend him for 4 years and then ultimately extended Sale and Bogaerts instead. Trying to extend Mookie one year away from free agency when he’d already turned down a $300mill offer while also getting under the luxury tax was a task beyond impossible…

    I find it hard to believe we only acquire stupid players. I think there is an over-aggressive baserunning initiative this year. The Sox have been trying to exploit the larger bases since December. Maybe this was a team wide stategy in the dugout as well?

Massarotti is an established liar, and the rest live in a world where the more negative they are, the more clicks they get. And of course, more clicks translates directly to more advertising revenue. For a guy who passionately advocates the eye test, your version of it seems to involve less baseball watching and more perusing of Shaughnessy columns…

    There is absolutely nothing wrong with basing your own opinion on your own thoughts as opposed to what you want Cora to think. None of us have any idea if Cora is embarrassed or not. And it’s not a matter of opinion…
