This is what I like about Breslow. If something doesn’t work out, he’s pro-active. Take Curtis Mead. Big acquisition that unfortunately fractured his wrist almost immediately. Breslow’s new plan? Move on Rutschman, who is already on the IL with a wrist injury. Take that, Karma!

1. Give Arias a shot at short. Monasterio to 2b, until his bat stops playing. 2. Trade for a LF and maybe some pitching. 1SO and one RP. More for depth. 3. Dump Duran out in SD for a solid bench bat in Ty France. 4. Read duck boat manual and learn safety procedures.

We just watched a very limited range SS let an easy double play groundball go through for a hit leading to a 3-run inning. Per StatCast, Abrams range ranks in the bottom 1%, which is as bad as it gets. Sure, more RBIs. But how many of them does he give back? Just use the MI players we have. Including Arias…
