    You keep re-iterating that 2 run single line, as if a 2 run single and a 2 run home run come from the same circumstances. How about a 2 run single and a 3 run home run?

    Batting average doesn’t reflect contact, and certainly does quantify the value of the contact. And maybe it’s time to abandon the notion that a .300 hitter is some sort of revered feat. Joey Wendle and Corey Dickerson hit .300 last year. Jose Ramirez didn’t. Why do we attach a special accomplishment to Wendle or Dickerson? Are they better hitters than Ramirez?

    Do you think other GMs don’t have Google? Actually if you sell anyone high, it’s Duran. A .472 BABIP is completely unsustainable and very likely means he is all or part illusion. And yet he can still bring back more in a trade...
