I agree to an extent. But if you have a starter go 5 or 6 IP and then count on 3 or 4 IP from the pen, it does give them a better chance to succeed...

They may have to unload another deal or two. I’d be surprised if they tendered Hembree a contract and there is the possibility of moving Barnes. Obviously moving Price would be prudent, and don’t kid yourself, it is possible. The only question is, is what’s coming back going to make that deal worthwhile?

Well it might not. But if the team is resetting for 2021 it helps. 2020 is a very pivotal season. Do the Sox keep spending, something Dombrowski doesn’t appear to do very well? Or do they step back and regroup for one year?
