    Again, though, it’s not like he was getting hit hard. Think about the inning: the intentional walk is a call from the bench. Line out to right. Chapman’s hard hit double. Tapia taps a soft grounder in a good spot for run 6. Downs makes a bad play on the throw home on another soft hit ball for run 7. Downs blows a DP that should have ended the inning. Sawamura misses 1st base for run 8. Then the DP to end the inning. Just line in the 1st, the actual pitching was better than the results.
