It’s not accurate. Side to side probably; up and down no way. That tv rectangle top to bottom is the same for Aaron Judge as it is for Jose Altuve, which obviously can’t be true. -
That’s always been my definition of clutch; the ability to relax in big moments and perform at a level close to what you normally do. Most players tense up, reducing their performance level below career norms.

Unfortunately, Houston is Devers nemesis. Of the teams he’s faced more than a handful of games, his lowest numbers are against the Astros. Every player has one those teams he does not do well against, and Houston is Devers.

A bit puzzling I agree. He’s not been ice cold. Everyone’s got some little nagging thing at this time of year. I’m assuming it’s just a righty-lefty thing, or possibly some data on Wong vs. Cano.

Googled it. Believe it or not, they are 9th in MLB in 1st inning runs at 0.52 per game. But it’s a really tight distribution; the Braves are 8th at 0.54 and the Cubs, Rockies and Astros are tied for 17th at 0.50. At this point of the season, 8th to 17th are separated by roughly 5 runs total.

O’s didn’t exactly knock Bernardino around, exit velocity on those hits might have combined for 100 mph.

Wasn’t an easy play, it wasn’t hit very high. But it needs to be made. Bernardino made it moot by getting Mullins.

Bernardino starts off allowing a weak hit. Jansen needs to catch that. Not an easy play, but one that has to be made. Doesn’t bode well.

He pitched nothing like his previous stat line tonight. Part of it was Sox hitters but a bigger part of it was Povich. I can see why the O’s have him rated their #1 pitching prospect.

With his persistent and juvenile attempts to goad moon, notin (and others at times) into pissing contests, Red has long ceded the moral high ground on anything. He’s tried it in this thread. In other words, Red’s the guy in the stands trying to provoke a reaction.

What’s the deal with the wrong months in the thread titles? This is 3 straight. I get the first time was probably a typo, but it’s not like they’re on a winning streak and people are keeping it going because of that.
