  1. Okay “in either ERod (or Price on short rest)”
  2. That wasn’t exactly ripped but hit in a good spot.
  3. You also have a huge question mark for tomorrow in either ERod or Price on short rest. Need Porcello to give some innings.
  4. Yeah but if you’re looking breaking ball, you aren’t going to speed up your bat to catch up to a fastball.
  5. He’s seen nothing but breaking balls this whole series; had to be looking for another one there because that’s the only reason you don’t offer at that. He may be outthinking himsrlf right now.
  6. Yep, they are definitely looking to hit the other way. Need to counteradjust
  7. Disagree. I think his glove was over the wall, but it came back into play directly off the glove. Probably should have been ruled a double, which is where Altuve ended up.
  8. Doesn’t matter. Stats say the more rest he gets the worse he is. They put up a stat the other day that his ERA with 3+ days rest is around 6.50 and his ERA on 2 days or less is around 1.50
  9. Not defending him but unlike his slides at second there was something the first baseman could have done to mitigate things. Like I said, it would have been pure karma had he injured himself with that second maneuver with the left foot. Really sad thing is guys like that never seem to get hurt doing that crap.
  10. . I can’t stand Machado and it would have been pure karma had he injured himself on a play like this but Aquilar has his foot right on top of the base. I played a lot of first backnin the day and one of the main lessons is always use the edge of the base when taking a throw to avoid situations just like this.
  11. Joe CAN be a really good umpire when he decides to let the game be the featured attraction and not himself. Unfortunately, he doesn't always do that.
  12. Nope. Kelly hasn’t worked in a while and you’ve got two more games the next 2 days. Keep Barnes pitch count down.
  13. We had a lab like that. Went from calling them walks to Ws to strolls to promenades. She figured them all out after about 2 times.
  14. First 2 pitches to Gonzalez were strikes; West didn’t call them. First one wasn’t even borderline.
  15. Finally found a place Bregman couldn’t get to.
  16. JBJ has absolutely no idea how to bunt. He can’t even sacrifice, let alone do it for a hit.
  17. 29th round though. He improved a ton in college and was a #1 pick by the Astros 3 years later.
  18. God I hate the way Vazquez does that 0-2 high strike. It’s never a competitive pitch.
  19. Starting to think this isn’t going to be our day; Stro’s flashing a lot of leather.
  20. They definitely have a real good idea of the strike zone.
  21. Geez, Brooks Jr. is human
  22. He doesn’t look at plays, just results. He’s an idiot who’s best put on ignore.
  23. Silly challenge by Cora; clearly a catch
  24. Yep, hell of a play.
