You just can’t admit your choice would have been disaster yesterday. Cora made the right move in starting him on normal rest. Sale failed. He would have been worse yesterday.

Sale comes up small in a big situation again. Not the first time. However, why is Vazquez catching him. His worst outings this year have been with Vaz behind the plate.

Which is the really relevant factor. The Sox can beat the Rays in a series; any team can beat any other team in a series. But this Sox team cannot do that 3 series in a row.
