And they will continue to do as long as they keep trying to pull the ball. You have to think opposite field against that sinker. It’s no coincidence the closest thing the Sox have to a hit was Verdugo liner that was just foul to left. -

Exactly. This is the fewest runs they’ve scored in the series. O has missed some chances to add on; good Astros’ pitching has had something to do with that.

He does have trouble hitting them and he’s been rung up twice on a pitch to the same area, and probably would have been again.

Is it me or has Pivetta really slowed his pitch pace down from what he’s been doing? Although the need to throw down multiple signs even with no one on may be contributing to that.

Early in the game, they flashed a stat that the Sox have scored 81% of their postseason runs on homers; that is not sustainable. We’ve seen this movie all season.
