  1. When he was going well early in the season and then again in August, he was going to right quite a bit. He has become completely pull happy in October.
  2. We’ve done it all year; why should now be any different?
  3. And they will continue to do as long as they keep trying to pull the ball. You have to think opposite field against that sinker. It’s no coincidence the closest thing the Sox have to a hit was Verdugo liner that was just foul to left.
  4. This is a rhetorical, right? Because we all know the answer.
  5. Really 8. I’ll take 2 runs over 8 innings anytime.
  6. Exactly. It was likely his throw day; he can do it in the game or in the pen.
  7. I was responding to the post about 4 straight fastballs to Correa to start the inning. Who called those pitches?
  8. Eovaldi and Vazquez has not been a good combination this year.
  9. Either way is defensible. Bad call by Diaz was the difference, not the IBB.
  10. I’m a little surprised Eovaldi didn’t rip Diaz a new one on the way off the mound.
  11. Disagree; he’s been hitting well this series.
  12. The left field side has not been as wide as the right field side.
  13. Could see that coming after Eovaldi didn’t gets the strike 3 call. But a bad pitch by Eovaldi.
  14. Exactly. This is the fewest runs they’ve scored in the series. O has missed some chances to add on; good Astros’ pitching has had something to do with that.
  15. Looked like Whitlock threw it right where Vaz had the target. Fastball may have been fine but not in that location.
  16. Terrible pitch and it was right where Vazquez had the target.
  17. I’m assuming Cora wants him for the 7th and 8th.
  18. He does have trouble hitting them and he’s been rung up twice on a pitch to the same area, and probably would have been again.
  19. Is it me or has Pivetta really slowed his pitch pace down from what he’s been doing? Although the need to throw down multiple signs even with no one on may be contributing to that.
