Can someone bring up the collective ERA of Japanese Red Sox relievers? I know it's damn good. Leave out starters, Dice-K messed that up.

I think it might go back to 2011, when Texas and St. Louis were in the World Series, and both relied heavily on their pens. You can see it in the game logs for that World Series. I think Texas really stacked their pen at the deadline that year.
Even that is debatable. Every team has guys who are not going to end up at 3 WAR or more. Kike should end up around 2, which would make him an MLB average player.
Saying Bloom is 4 for 7 or whatever doesn't really work. Our W-L record and quality of play is much better than expected. He turned the team around in a hurry. Fantastic job.
Whitlock has been a special case from Day One with his Rule 5 status and the injury concerns.
The fact he's still pitching so well says to me they're handling him well.
This guy could be a big part of our staff for a while.
