    I think an inherent part of the re-building philosophy is stocking farm pieces that can be traded. I don't think anyone is expecting Bloom to go all Dombrowski and trade them in bunches, though.

    Same here. I was sweating out the 9th last night, hoping Barnes would hang onto the win. Thank God it's such a great game in spite of all the BS.

    We all know the facts of the situation. The only thing any of us have any control over is our own attitude. Mine is still pretty positive, because we still have the 4 rings, and we still have a committed ownership with a lot of money to spend. We also now have some hope with guys like Bello and Casas. Plus we have another wild offseason to look forward to on Talksox!
