    The Hundred Years War had nothing on some of the battles you see on message boards. On BDC there are two guys who have been pounding each other like Rock-em Sock-em Robots for about two years straight now.

    If ace starters are now going for 25 million, surely an elite closer is worth 10 million. That would make Papelbon overpaid by 25%. There are tons of players being overpaid by 25%. Including plenty that are sucking or on the DL.

    It's no sure thing, but I think Tazawa can close. But if he closes we lose him as a guy who can get big outs in the 7th and 8th. Bailey looked good for a while but I think it's obvious now that this guy has huge problems staying on the field.

    Of course he's overpaid. But look what we're going through with Bailey and Hanrahan. I don't have the answer but I don't buy it that closer is an easy position to fill.
