  1. Offensive stats of catchers are easy to compare. The defensive side of catching is much harder to compare. None of us are really qualified to do it.
  2. That rule was tossed out when they brought in the new Wild Card system. For example last year the Dodgers played the D'Backs in the first round.
  3. It's just random s***, seriously.
  4. Those words are even sweeter when you hear them this early in the day.
  5. It was a bad toss by Swihart wasn't it?
  6. Plus the Rays bullpen has held the Yanks to 1 run through 7 anyway.
  7. You guys are overthinking it. If Eovaldi pitched today we couldn't use him until July 30. We need him before that I think.
  8. I think he did about as well as you could ask under the circumstances.
  9. That's all part of the fun, isn't it?
  10. Or they could move him to the pen, give him a couple of shots there, and if he still looks bad, DL him.
  11. I think we were about $1.75 (one dollar seventy-five cents) under the 237 before this, so probably not LOL
  12. I predict he ends up back with Theo.
  13. He looked damn good last night. He's still quite a teaser...
  14. E-Rod's injury is potentially devastating to our season. DD needs to get a starter and a reliever and he knows this full well. What he can pull off remains to be seen.
  15. That last outing was crazy tho
  16. I wonder if there is serious concern about Chapman's health.
  17. As you said he should end up a DH.
  18. "He's just lazy and slow back there." Was that in any of his scouting reports? LOL
  19. I think it makes sense that his groin was still bothering him. If not, to have not just one but two no-hustle plays in one game, especially for a team that's under the hot lights like the Yankees (or us), you'd have to be in some sort of self-destruct mode.
  20. I think DD felt Shaw was not this good of a hitter based on his minor league numbers. Shaw has been breaking a paradigm of sorts.
  21. Stinkinrider for starters.
  22. No, we don't. Britton was a pipe dream, that's obvious now.
