Seriously? That was 2 seasons ago and it was concussion symptoms and vertigo, which can be severely debilitating. Soft injury is not an apt description at all.

Looks like the Sox will have the worst run differential in history, and Aaron Judge will obliterate the strikeout record.

Aaron Judge has 14 K's in 7 games, including 2 Golden Sombreros. That puts him on pace for 46 Golden Sombreros this year.

If the 2020 Red Sox are completely out of it in July, it could certainly make sense to trade him. They went that route with Lester, of course.

He couldn't answer that question even if he wanted to. I remember him getting 'banned' multiple times in a day on BDC. It was ridiculous because on BDC all they could do was block your screen name. So Babe kept logging back in with 'new' screen names, adding a period to it or something. Good times. -

But the bullpen has been no issue, so I see no reason to attribute any of this to Dombrowski at this point.

It sounds simple, but in reality of course there is a vast amount of uncertainty involved. What are the chances of the 'two 3's and a 2' being two 3's and a 2 year in and year out? What is their contract status at the time of the trade (years left)? There are a lot of 'permutations and combinations'. There's uncertainty involved with Mookie's future performance too, of course.

Oh, I know. It certainly didn't bother him last year. But this offseason they really shone the spotlight on him.

Except that they were 3-4 in Seattle and Oakland last year, in the greatest season in franchise history. The Red Sox have always struggled in certain venues. It's almost inexplicable, except that it's major league baseball.

It wouldn't surprise me if Mookie has a bit of a difficult season this year, partly because of all the attention his contract situation has drawn.
