    I certainly don't think my opinion matters much. But Cora's opinion should matter. And he decided to go with Vazquez for the World Series run, and as the #1 catcher to start this season. That's all I'm leaning on.

    Vazquez was the starting catcher for 8 of our final 9 postseason games in 2018. We won 7 of those games. So yeah, let's get rid of him!

    I certainly understand the concern. I would counter-offer that Sale must have good numbers in cold weather considering the teams he's pitched for.

    I think me and the other person who voted for Brasier were right. Brasier = closer Barnes = relief ace Sort of the same setup the Guardians had with Allen and Miller. Decision was not long coming at all.

    It's easy for us to say it was premature. But it seems to me in a lot of cases players say they don't want to negotiate once the season starts, meaning you either get the extension done or the player goes to free agency. It all depends on the health of Sale's arm. If he's got a hidden injury then it's a screwup by someone.
