  1. Why is Moncada to DH even a conversation right now? That is ridiculous.
  2. Can you prove this conclusively?
  3. "f***ing stupid" is your realm of expertise, so I will defer to you on that one.
  4. This is a completely honest question that I ask to clear confusion on my part: Do you actually watch baseball?
  5. It's Price's fault! Aces have to manage the game too!
  6. If 7 shutout innings is not excellent work for a starter regardless of pitch count, you either have unrealistic expectations or you're a bumbling fool. I'm betting on a little bit of both with you.
  7. He should have started the inning, but he also should have had someone warming as soon as Mike Zunino, he of the career .621 OPS, hit a moonshot off a cookie. Pitchers lose it, it happens. That's why Farrell gets paid to handle these situations with aplomb. He did not last night.
  8. Not what I'm referring to. I'm referring to your constant ragging on Price. He was excellent last night, ran out of gas and Farrell got caught napping. But it's all Price's fault because he remembered he's a 4th starter. Where do you even come up with this nonsense?
  9. Dear f***ing Lord you're annoying with this BS.
  10. I sense some criticism of Farrell in this post. That is wrong, however, since John Farrell is perfect and should not be criticized even when he clearly, absolutely and undeniably f***ed up.
  11. Not just not in the right location, but rather "consistently hammered". Both have significantly negative pitch values (in the -3 range)
  12. Still very young though.
  13. You need some vagisil.
  14. Was typing up exactly this.
  15. Sometimes you eat the bear (last two games) sometimes the bear eats you (last night).
  16. We screamed at you because it's a silly proposition. It still is, and your argument makes little sense. The Benintendi move reeks of desperation, and it's pretty unnecessary.
  17. All of these decisions have been both, but more reactionary than anything else.
  18. Per his pitch selection charts, he has essentially thrown the same percentage of sliders (17.7%) and changeups (15.5%) the problem, per their pitch values, is that both of those secondary offerings have been terrible.
  19. Also, WMB, who SK mentioned in a similar post.
  20. Let's be BFFs!
  21. But Bradley and Bogaerts were both set back by over-aggressive decisions.
  22. Moving Bogaerts to 3B? Promoting and then not allowing JBJ enough time to develop at the MLB level? Panicking with Swihart and moving him to LF?
  23. Lineup positions do not operate in a vacuum. It's harder to walk when you're a leadoff hitter because guys will go right at you to keep you off the bases at least once per game, and in those instances, you have to swing and the BABIP Gods have you at their mercy.
  24. This is undeniable fact, and the point that really scares me.
  25. If he's as good a talent as people think he is, having him regress and lose 3/4 of a season is a big deal. Not from a money or control perspective, but from a "winning ballgames" perspective, which should be goal 1, 1A and 1B.
