  1. I am just stating a possible solution to the Farrell problem.
  2. Red Sox: First in the AL in runs. Red Sox: 25th in MLB in ERA. You want to trade run prevention ability for offense because?
  3. I don't quite think you understand how important the defensive aspect of catching is. That's a terrible idea.
  4. A young guy they could have traded Lackey for, and that doesn't enjoy fried chicken and beer.
  5. They should trade Buch for a dildo and jam it up Farrell's ass to wake him up.
  6. Young in a crucial situation against a righty.....goody!
  7. Got somethin' cookin' 'ere 'guv
  8. Let's get a couple of those back!
  9. Tighten your ******* and get that third out, goddamnit!
  10. The question people ask themselves is: "What happens if this year he doesn't jam a toenail, it strains his back and he actually pitches an entire season?" It's a fair question. s*** happens.
  11. Because he has great stuff and has gone on unreal runs of dominance like he did in 2013?
  12. It's amazing how Buch can go on runs of making hitters look silly on K's/weak contact, but he cannot sustain it inning to inning yet alone start to start. Buchholz is the Dark Souls of pitchers: Extremely fun on its best parts, yet teeth-grindingly, hair-pullingly difficult to watch on his rough patches.
  13. Zimmder's dead. That's dark.
  14. Why'd they add an S to my title? The Sox are only playing one Altuve today. The Astros showed yesterday their SP and the rest of their lineup is not Altuve enough.
  15. http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/images/players/head_shot/453329.jpg Buchholz and his new haircut (0-1, 5.74) Vs http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/images/players/head_shot/571666.jpg Mike "Altuve acquired in midseason" Fiers (1-1, 6.48) The Astros cannot contain our might. Let the baseball Gods bless us with good Buccholz and hot-as-a-blacksmith's-coal Mookie. WIN!
  16. This team needs Carson Smith back so bad.
  17. No he didn't. He's a .275/.324/.386 hitter in his 90 MLB games.
  18. Why do people insist on using batting average as a standalone tool to measure offensive success? Even worse, no, 90 games is not a good sample size. I love Swiahrt and think he's the future at C, but he's not ready.
  19. What a wasted opuntunity.
  20. The compound he took is a banned substance in Olympic competition, but harder compounds have been known to appear in OTC stuff. It doesn't excuse testing positive because it means he didn't do his due diligence and took a non-mlb approved supplement IF it's an OTC compound that he took.
  21. Hou lineup: Jose Altuve 2B George Altuve RF Carlos Altuve SS Colby Altuve LF Tyler Altuve 1B Evan "El Oso Blanco" Altuve DH Carlos Altuve II CF Luis Altuve 3B Erik Altuve C Colin Altuve P
  22. Tools are tools. One is a violent tool, one is a douchey tool who evolved into a violent one and choked out a teammate.
  23. I literally said not Brett Myers level. As in unlikeable, but not downright malicious. You completely misinterpreted what I meant.
  24. http://mlb.mlb.com/images/players/525x330/alt/453214.jpg Steven "The Knuckler Lives" Wright 0-2, 2.13 ERA Vs http://mlb.mlb.com/images/players/525x330/543521.jpg Colin "#2 Altuve in the rotation" McHugh 1-2, 6.39 ERA Houston whiffs a lot, the knuckler dances a lot. It's a perfect concoction for victory.....WIN!
