  1. Lester has looked fine. Not dominant, but fine.
  2. Hughes is getting hurt by A-Rod's below-average fielding, but it's not like he was impressive with his command or his stuff. Maybe he's tipping his curveball - when he throws it low, the Sox haven't swung at it.
  3. Lol Yankees bullpen's active. Hughes will probably close in on 60 pitches.
  4. There is no chance A-rod wins another MVP. His stats this year are worse than even last year (when he was injured) and there are very few hitters that have aged well after 35 (not many more than Babe Ruth and Willie Mays of the non-steroid era, or probable steroid users like Barry Bonds).
  5. Hopefully the first of many. Why is Bill Hall starting over Lowrie?
  6. Hey, Tim McCarver, do you think runners should go in head first or feet first? I would like to know your opinion on this matter.
  7. What the f*** is Lackey going to "quick pitch" Gardner with? Like, pitching from the stretch?
  8. I think indifference has to occur in a specific inning. This ump is utter s***.
  9. Yankees fans at Yankee stadium are so f***ing stupid. They boo strike calls that are right down the plate.
  10. "what happened to Youkilis validates their decision to keep Mike Lowell, instead of trading him." Right, because Theo knew that Youkilis was going to have a freak injury and miss the season. Right conclusion, terrible reasoning. Also lol at Daniel Nova.
  11. Also f*** Fox. All their commentators suck, and Joe Buck is the worst of the worst.
  12. Maybe he has an excellent approach to baserunning. He hasn't really displayed elite speed IMO, but maybe that'll change over the season.
  13. Berkman's trying to do his best Beltre impression, except, you know...Beltre is actually good.
  14. He's not close to as fast as Ellsbury, but he's supposed to have good speed. His speed is supposed to be really good, but I haven't been impressed by it in the majors (not that he's as slow as Manny - he has decent range in the field and looks kind of fast, but 20 SB might be a bit optimistic). He's got good power though - whatever he's hit so far, he has hit really hard. His patience at the plate has also looked good for being 22 years old, although that wasn't really on display last night.
  15. Ellsbury just saved a run.
  16. RYAN f***ING KALISH
  17. Joba in the bullpen. I don't know which pitcher I'd want the Sox to face more.
  18. Suck it Jeter. Should have been A-Roid though.
  19. And that's why you shouldn't be paying for that poor performance with a salary meant for someone like Pujols.
  20. IBB lawl. The smartest pitches Vazquez has made all night.
  21. MARCO MOTHERf***ING SCUTARO!!
  22. Why is Vazquez's pitch count so damn high? I want him to stay in the game =( And the Yankees fans don't have any clue what's a ball and what's a strike. Lol and he walks in a run.
  23. I'm guessing he looks a lot better pitching for Atlanta, or NL hitters look a lot worse.
  24. YES! THANK YOU VAZQUEZ!
