  1. Willingham is going to bring back a lot more than that...
  2. oh I figured the Tigers would of been that dumb. I didn't think the Nats would of went for him. I figured they'd be making a big splash but just in 2012 or 2013.
  3. To the kid who said I was smoking weed when I said Werth would get holiday money and that he won't even come close to 100 million, well.... how about now?
  4. Congrats, hope you guys are happy! Should be a fun season.
  5. Fuentes is in the deal.
  6. Dang looks like jeter got 19 million per... Oh well at least it's done with. I was ok with 17 but I guess another 6 million won't hurt the Yankees too much.
  7. So Rizzo and Kelly for A-Gon? I'm late to the party and didn't see much about it.
  8. Glad to have Mo back, I'd sign him to a 3 year deal before I signed Jeter to a four year one. BTW the Yankees tried to trade Cervelli for Martin a few nights ago. Would of been interesting to see a trio of Montero, Martin and Posada.
  9. Hope you guys sign him, not being sarcastic but just really hope you do!
  10. Rangers could use outfielders? I think Crawford signs first and Werth collects big due to that and signs a Holliday type deal, but thats just me.
  11. Thats actually a very nice team man, but are you listing your sp in order or just random? Cause lester is your ace
  12. If you want to give Jeter 25 million for 6 years. Be my guest. I wouldn't want to hold the Red Sox back. 700 hitter... Crawford will probably be a Angel. Tigers have another 35 to 40 million to spend. I think they're going to sign one of them. I could see them giving Werth a Holliday type contract.
  13. wait him out... it's not like anyone is going to even give him 10 mill per for three years.
  14. oh alright yeah he's an elite basestealer. I agree on the second half, thats why I kind of hope the Yankees don't trade him unless Towers got a huge boner for Joba while he was with us. Two young SP and a centerfielder along with a 4th and maybe even a 5th piece seems like a lot to me.
  15. Yankees going to sign DePaula http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2010/11/yankees-likely-to-sign-depaula.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter great news! It's always nice to add another top of the rotation type of arm to the system. Now we just need to sign Odor.
  16. Ellsbury is not elite, sorry. I think the second deal you said is more to their liking anyway.
  17. I was reading today I think from Sherman that the Sox could go all out and send Buchholz and a few prospects, I'd guess Britton and Kalish knowing Towers for Upton and then sign Lee. They'd have the money to do so. They'd have a pretty slick team then. Lee, Lester, Dic-K, Beckett and Lackey/Wakefield/Dubront.
  18. Uggla to the Braves for Dunn and Infante. Wow, Cashman needs to be on the phone with their GM. Guy must be retarded or something. He seems to be getting the worst in every deal.
  19. Bet he goes to the Blue Jays for three prospects one of them being Carlos Perez. Marlins could use a stud catching prospect after Skipworth kind of bombed out. I saw they would move Hill to 3B and keep Uggla at 2B which kind of made the least sense... like ever.
  20. RiverAveBlues.com posted BaseballAmerica.com's top 10 Yankee prospects... 1. Jesus Montero, C: “may be the best all-around hitter in the minors, capable of hitting .300 with 30-plus homers annually … best-case scenario is that he develops into the second coming of Mike Piazza” 2. Gary Sanchez, C: “has a higher ceiling than anyone in the organization, including Jesus Montero” 3. Dellin Betances, RHP: “If Betances can build on the progress he made last season, he’ll be a frontline starter for New York … he still could wind up in the mix to eventually replace Mariano Rivera“ 4. Manny Banuelos, LHP: “has the poise to move quickly, and now he has frontline stuff” 5. Andrew Brackman, RHP: “For some scouts, Brackman’s whole is less than the sum of his parts, earning comparisons to A.J. Burnett and Kyle Farnsworth” 6. Austin Romine, C: “Montero has more star potential with his bat, Romine is a more well-rounded player … may become trade bait” 7. Hector Noesi, RHP: “lacks the breaking ball to pitch near the front of a rotation, but his fastball command should allow him to be a No. 4 or 5 starter” 8. Eduardo Nunez, SS: “Yankees see him in the Chone Figgins mold as a utility player” 9. Slade Heathcott, CF: “physically resembles Brett Gardner and has some similarities to New York’s left fielder, but Heathcott should develop more power and has a stronger arm” 10. Brandon Laird, 3B: “profiles as a third baseman in the Kevin Kouzmanoff mode … could become trade fodder” Well they put Nunez up too high for my taste. Same with Noesi. I know Manuel doesn't like Stoneburner, but I thought Warren would of made it. I'm a huge Marshall fan, same with Bryan Mitchell. Corban Joseph im a homer with I know that, but he's in my top 10.
