I was reading today I think from Sherman that the Sox could go all out and send Buchholz and a few prospects, I'd guess Britton and Kalish knowing Towers for Upton and then sign Lee. They'd have the money to do so. They'd have a pretty slick team then. Lee, Lester, Dic-K, Beckett and Lackey/Wakefield/Dubront.
