Sick part is Manny Banuelos goes in game three, Brackman in four if needed. David Phelps was great until the 6th inning last night for the SWB Yankees. Maybe he got a little tired? Igawa goes in game three, Noesi should get the ball in game 4.

Montero will be up next season, if he's healthy. Should be interesting to see in ST. It's been a great season for our farm system. I got to say it's perhaps the best ever with player development. Watching Kontos, Laird, CoJo and Romine in the AFL should be fun too. Hopefully they continue to build their stock.

Let's see we've had Hughes/Joba vs Buchholz, didn't really go our way. Pedo vs Cano, went our way a bit, same with Ells vs Gardner. Now it seems the next big debate is Banuelos vs Kelly. Who would you take?

Why would the Reds trade Hanigan? He's going to be their starting catcher next year and they've got a very good team... Just give your Triple-A catcher a shot or even Salty.

Oh your 2010 draftees are in the majors?! Haha, if you're talking over all the yankees have an edge. If you take a look at the major league roster the yankees have an answer to the red sox except lester. The yankees farm is probably 8 to 10 slots better than the red sox. Yankees being somewhere around 8 to 9th best red sox around 17th to 18th.

Lin can't void the contract.... only the yankees can. Which why would they? If they do all free agents and ifa would want their contracts voided if someone else offered more money.

You don't need to have every spot nailed down. This was using your slot, I actually think the Yankees sign Crawford too and try to deal off Granderson or see if a team wants to part with a good young pitcher for Gardner.

The Yankees will have about 160 million on their payroll going into next season. I can see them non tendering Mitre, myself thats how I got the number. 3 for Joba, 1.4 for Logan, 4 for Hughes. Plus about 5-6 million for players just making min and 2 million left over just incase we see even higher raises. Mo for 15, Jeter for 18 = 193. We have 20 million left over to spend on Lee. I wouldn't be shocked to see us go even higher with the payroll next year since YES will be going national and that means we'll likely see our income double.

I had big hopes for Lassiter, sucked to see him suck haha. I'm surprised you have Adams below Mitchell. I'm not a DJ fan at all, was it due to the injury? This was a solid draft IMO BA gave it a C, but with the improvements to a lot of the prospects this year I might give it a C+/B- with potential to reach a B if the HS arms can come together.

Yeah I'd agree to that, not too much else from the draft after that. DeLuca is a project with a high ceiling. I'm just a big mitchell fan and considering where he went I might just put him over Murphy. Nothing against Murphy though at all.

Yeah, I had wanted Austin Wilson in the 1st but if we can sign Williams and say Rutchkyj I'll be happy. Just wish we would take a chance on Jordan, was very excited for him.
