Now that Morton, Gumbs and Gamel are in(kind of) I don't think we'll hear any other big names until the 16th. Williams and Desze will most likely be announced and probably Viramontes later in the day and then Evan Retchyj hopefully similar to Evan DeLuca, right at the deadline. Lots of talent coming in, you have to love it.

power hitting? I heard he doesn't have too much power over at NYYFans. I thought he looked a bit like Matt Laporta body wise coming out of the draft.

Really think Rizzo is more legit. I saw Anderson on the NESN game and wasn't too impressed. reminds me of your other 1B, Ryan Shealy had the hype but never lived up to it.

I love Kalish as a Yankee fan even. haha, so thats major. I don't know if though, I voted yes but now I'm kind of meh to it. I know you have Drew in right, I'm not sure on LF though, so yeah he could go there. I wouldn't sell low on Ellsbury, everyone is saying to trade him, but that's not a wise move at least imo. Maybe he's grown into a clubhouse cancer, im not sure what goes on behind those doors nor do i want to know.... Anyway I read some comments Youk and other people made two months ago and it wasn't too pretty so if it has to be done I guess its one of those take one for the team to make it better at the end of the day.

I just heard Dean reached an agreement. He's a good guy to have. Morton, Gamel, Gumbs, Williams and it looks like Brugman will sign now too.

Hopefully Rutckyj is next. I heard Morton(along with a few other dudes are done) just waiting to announce it , must be waiting. Encinas was a must though.

Really wish we just unloaded a bit and flexed out muscles. Williams, Jordan, Heredia and DePaula. That would be sweet. All four would jump right into the top 30 and be potential top 10 next off season, IMO.

Mason Williams has to be what in the 14 to 20th range right? Morton should likely be in the 18th to 22nd ranks as well.

Mason Williams would jump right into the top 20 for me. I forgot about Melky Mesa too, he'd be 20 for me and pushing everyone back one. That's a pretty deep system.

I guess the Yankees are suppose to make a big splash tomorrow, not sure maybe they go hard fter Soria again? Also they are said to be looking around at RP and bench options of course.

I wanted Berkman so much in June and early July, but now all the Dunn talk made me want to trade for him more haha

I was surprised how well I slotted the farm, my top 10 was Montero, Romine, Banuelos,(Viz and Jackson) Heathcott, Joseph, Sanchez, Brackman, Adams and Stoneburner. Adams and Stoneburner were 11 and 12, respectively. Vizcaino and Jackson were 4th and 5th, before getting traded. I never really got on McAllister, I had him 13th or 14th. DJ Mitchell was 18th. My biggest mistakes were Betances and Laird being around 20 to 25th. BTW, Sanchez has a minor hand injury, they are keeping him out a few games just to be safe.

What the real tell to me though, even if the M's played us they obvious like a lot of our prospects. Names that were mentioned were Nova, Noesi and Phelps which Cashman said he didn't want to move. Montero, Adams, McAllister, Warren and Nunez also were in the thick of trade talks. We have guys who other teams want and it doesn't hurt that Vizcaino, Dunn, Coke, Jackson, Kennedy, Ohlendorf, Tabata and McCutchen to name some talent we traded away in the past two years that are one their way to or already quality major leaguers.

Dunn would cost a lot more, I'm just meh to it. The difference imo at least isn't worth that big of a difference in a package. I heard the Nats wanted at least two good prospects.

I swear I know the Yankee fans do this. Like a few years ago everyone had trade ideas for everyone and it was the same players... Kennedy, Miranda, Ohlendorf, Cabrera, etc. I did it even a few times, but every red sox trade rumor has Doubront, Reddick, Bowden or Kalish in it. You have to think like a GM here, I know the Phillies make questionable calls but you have to factor in 2 high picks and 3 months of a slugger.... He's going to cost Kelly and two B prospects. Assuming you aren't touching the major league roster. I really believe the Red Sox don't match up. Rays are the perfect match in a Wade Davis or Garza for Werth swamp.
