  1. You're right. Here's the Sox projected 2014 lineup C Lavarnway 1B -Agon 2B Pedo 3B- Cecchini SS- Iglesias LF Crawford CF- Ellsbury RF- Kalish DH- Youkalis Lester, Buchholz, Becket, Ranaudo and Britton and Papelbon as the closer.
  2. Lingo has Montero 4th and Sanchez 29th. No Red Sox Manuel has Montero 3rd, Sanchez 17th and Manny 20th. No Red Sox Callis has Montero 3rd and Sanchez 47th. Ranaudo 44th
  3. Did you want me to take a picture of the rankings?
  4. I got my handbook today and BA has their list as... 1. Montero 2. Sanchez 3. Dellin 4. Manny 5. Brackman 6. Romine 7. Noesi 8. Nunez 9. Heathcott 10. Laird 11. Marshall 12. Warren 13. Nova 14. Murphy 15. Williams 16. Phelps 17. Stoneburner 18. Mitchell 19. Mesa 20. CoJo 21. Culver 22. Adams 23. Bryan Mitchell 24. Ramirez 25. Gumbs 26. Bleich 27. Brewers 28. Kahnle 29. Whitley 30. Venditte 31. DeLeon Flores was the sleeper pick, so he's basically number 32. I was disappointed to see Suttle and Segedin left off. I'd 100% have both of them over Venditte. I like the list, but the back five I think he kind of tossed together. They have Murphy listed as a 3B on the DC and Tamarez, DePaula and Romero are all also listed. I checked around and really the only guy who made a teams top 30 from the ifa was Heredia. I guess they are trying to not hype those guys too much before they played. They gave glowing reports about Kahnle and Mullee and their 98 mph fastballs. Gumbs is listed as a 2B too, but they rave about his lightning fast bat speed. Lingo has Montero 4th and Sanchez 29th. No Red Sox Manuel has Montero 3rd, Sanchez 17th, Betances 18th and Manny 20th. No Red Sox Callis has Montero 3rd and Sanchez 47th. Ranaudo 44th
  5. Romine was in the just missed he so he's somewhere between 101 and 110. Jose Iglesias was 45 Anthony Ranaudo 54 Drake Britton 90
  6. Yes twas a joke. It was Keither Law aka Theo.
  7. Oh you're thinking of Theo's list...
  8. This is from their handbook... Go to a Barnes and Noble(book store), they sell them there you can check for yourself.

Philadelphia Phillies 12. L.A. Dodgers 13. Minnesota Twins 14.Washington Nationals 15. Texas Rangers 16. L.A. Angels 17. Boston Red Sox 18. Seattle Mariners 19. Pittsburgh Pirates 20. N.Y. Mets 21. Milwaukee Brewers
  10. For some reason today I feel the urge to have my colon cleansed.
  11. I know I'd be willing to do it. IMO, he's the only player I'd do that for in baseball and be happy. I'm not saying it will happen, I'm just throwing out some possibilities. The Yankees can afford Felix in terms of players and money, they have a need and the M's aren't going anywhere anytime soon. They could end up trading him at the deadline or even next off season they can. As for Haren... same thing, angels are going to get buried alive. There is always a chance I guess, but the A's and Rangers, IMHO will grab hold of that division and run with it while the M's and Angels struggle. I'm not going to throw a fit if you guys think the Angels have a shot though, anything can happen. Except the Cubs winning the world series of course.
  12. I'm saying we have an improving farm and cap space to add Felix. Who knows if Felix will be traded or not. He could always be, you never know with baseball. I know it's going to take a lot, if it only cost Gardner, Montero and Brackman and "a few others" there would be more than just a few teams in it. I'm prepared for the price. Jesus, Banuelos, Brett, etc etc etc. Anyone but Hughes and Cano, IMO.
  13. No the key will be the $18 million left, and an improving farm system. I think we could end up with Felix midseason or even Dan Haren as the Angels just take it hard this year.
  14. Yankees signed Andruw Jones for $2 million. I'm glad to have him on the team! Now let's look around for a starter.
  15. This was the Yankees plan, get the red sox fans at each others throats. It's working well.
  16. I hope not. Just get Jones done and look at The Duch haha. Keep the roster flexible.
  17. Hopefully we can nail down Andruw Jones soon. He'll be a nice fourth outfielder I think, shouldn't cost a ton either.
  18. Well what I think what makes the Yankees dangerous is they still have a lot of money to spend and a deep farm system. Right now it's really close but I'd give the Red Sox the edge still. Both teams have good bullpens, but with Papelbon at the end I'm kind of uneasy about them. I like the Yankees lineup better as much as I like the Red Sox starting pitching better. Red Sox have an impressive bench with Cameron, Scutaro, Kalish and Tek/Salty whichever doesn't start.
  19. I'm ok with giving up the first rounder and they clauses. If he opts out we'll get at least a 1st rounder next year and a 1st, 2nd or 3rd rounder. The money kind of shocked me, I thought if it was a three year deal it'd be more like 31 million or 31.5 million, but meh. I just hope this sets up another move.
  20. Oh well I might just sign Jones for a 4th OF and check up on Jon Rauch and see if we can get a deal, if not I'm ready to go into the season as we are now. So long as Joba is the 4th starter. Use the 15-20(depending on Jones/Rauch) million we have left to take guys off teams on the cheap mid season.
