  1. Yeah, Holt just totally forgot how to hit. Got it.
  2. Guilty as charged Dude.
  3. Swihart is a lgit switch hitter, isn't he? Problem solved.
  4. He may be lacking certification stamp as an official bust but Castillo is on the outside looking in. $10. mil a year would console my embarrassment if I were in his position. Dumb signing "Full Stop".
  5. Smith to the DL should surprise no one. That guy has a crazy delivery and his arm popped or something in ST. Ted is probably correct, he is likely done for the season. If TJS is in the cards, and it sure looks that way, forget about Carson smith until very late 2017 or 2018 ST. I wish we had Miley back. I love what Swihart brings to the field each day. As suggested above he may not be GG immediately and there will be a bunch of oh f*** moments, but once he learns just enough, he should be fine. Speed can cover a lot of problems. I hope Holt is okay. Didn't he get hit in the head a few days ago?
  6. Which he could do while playing left field.
  7. I see and understand all that you have said. I guess that I see him as being a little further along in his development. I think that spending the rest of 2016 catching at AAA will be enough.
  8. Then this would be another example of the FO doing it's thing!!!!!!
  9. I'm not sure about Chen but you make a strong point about Buttholtz. I see his presence on the 25 as sort of the "Anti-Roster Crunch". He f***s the entire squad up.
  10. As a reminder, f*** UZR.
  11. Good points. But if Benintendi continues to rake, and rake hard, and if the Sox lose one or more OF to injury, I see him called up a la Swihard. The best thing to do is to let the kid seek his level while in MiLb while becoming accustomed to long schedule ball and the pro life. Without an artificial rush, his time is better served in AA and AAA for now.
  12. MVP is going to trade Pedroia to Fangraphs.
  13. Lol. Hence what I quoted in post #68. That was an awesome episode of a great show.
  14. I like the bolt text. It's easier for me to read.
  15. Which is why I asked the question. I believe that your assessment is close to spot-on.
  16. I don't know you and I suspect that I won't get an opportunity to do so. This board has a very low tolerance of trolls and especially the Yankee variant. We have along standing Yankee fan who can troll now and then and can get away with it because he has made many substantive and insightful posts. Post we value. You, Sir, have done no such thing. You have zero cred here. If you choose to continue to bring nothing to the board of value and just come here to rip on the Sox then don't be surprised when you get the boot.
  17. Yes, He belongs. I'm just wondering if fans outside of Boston feel a positively about Schill as we do here.
  18. I think so. It's not like he has not put a bunch of time and "reps" into the process to date.
  19. How did you come up with "at least 2 years of full time reps"? Is it possible that he could make sufficient strides this year alone?
  20. Anyone who gives you s***, particularly when you are correct about something, is a knob and deserves to be banned.
