    We have been discussing the loser on at least one other thread. Not sure if the tittle mentions him but in any case anyone could have started such a thread at any time if they chose to do so. So what is the issue?

    I don't need a new thread for every thought that occurs to me. Likewise, everyone else on TS. There is an organized system of threads and content here. We have one very good and fair Moderator. He does this part time. I do think that discussion can become stale and sometimes there is so much redundancy I want to throw my laptop on the floor in frustration. But that is the nature of this beast and I accept that. Saying unkind words about TS is really saying insulting things to it's members. I resent this. A lot of work has gone into making TS a civilized place where anyone, including you, can say just about anything as long as it does not attack anyone else or it involves politics. If this is not your cup of tea kindly keep your insults and your intolerance to yourself and move on.

    The BDC forum was a mess. If someone doe not like the discussion of TS then they can take a hike. Talksox is a community. Most of us have been familiar and mostly friendly with each other for years. If you thrive on bombast you won't like it here.

    MVP is probably right in that Pablow has until June. That is, of course, if he starts to produce more regularly. I don't see him failing miserably until June, either. If he sucks hard for the next couple of weeks the Sox will make a move. I have said this before, I think he has shown signs of life at the plate. Other than the misadventure of him batting from the right, he mostly "looks" like his swatting old self at the plate. He seems to make hard contact frequently, just not for hits. His range, especially to the left, is disappointing if not unexpected. He is 3 years older that when he played decently in SF. His footwork appears decent but he makes many wild throws where he releases the ball early. That can be fixed. He is known to be a "hard worker" so I see no reason why he can not fix this aspect of his defense. Of course the Sox need to suss him out thoroughly before replacing him. I do like Hernandez, though. Just a dumb signing that continues to look bad.

    Nice win and a win is what counts. Farrell's decision gives us something to discuss. Win win! I would have come back with Sale but I have no problem with Kimbrel being brought in either. It's a long season and I want Sale to be effective in his 30, 31, 32 + starts. Save some bullets. I have little faith in Kimbrel when it come to pitching a clean inning but I know jack s*** about the game compared to Farrell. Holy s*** is Sale fun to watch.
