  1. I forgot how to embed.
  2. From a ridiculous posting fee (and contract) with the Red Sox to a minor league deal with the Guardians...I haven't seen Enron stock fall that quickly.
  3. A few quick points (most of which had already been made but I'll at least highlight who I agree with) 1. Boston was on Justin Upton's no trade list. We couldn't get him if we wanted him. I'd like to think that we wanted him, as I'd sure want Justin Upton on our team, and for the price the Braves paid I'd make that trade. 2. I think the Braves gave up a "meh" package for Upton. It's not bad, but it's miles apart from the package Seattle would have given them. Unforunately for them, Seattle was also on Justin Upton's no trade list. The Braves gave up Martin Prado who is a good ML 3B, and a few prospects such as SP Randall Delgado and Ahmed, SS prospect Spruill, and maybe even a 1B prospect in Drury. Don't forget that the Diamondbacks also sent 3B Chris Johnson in the deal. The Braves definitely won the deal. 3. In my opinion Arizona departed with both Trevor Bauer and Justin Upton for clearly less than market value. I agree that personality and character appear to have a high value in Arizona. 4. Arizona has been targeting Detroit's Rick Porcello for a while, and it's been postured that one of the SS prospects (one was acquired in both the Bauer and Upton deals) could be sent with a pitching prospect to Detroit for Porcello. Either way, true or not, I don't think Arizona is done.
  4. I think Carrie Underwood is more attractive than Ke$ha, but I'd much rather listen to Ke$ha's music. That said I'd rather do Ke$ha than Taylor Swift.
  5. Go Spurs! That is all. Regular season wins >>>>
  6. This might be a stupid question, but did you get your name off of Weird Al's parody version of Chamillionaire's "Ridin' Dirty" It was a shot in the dark. Anyway welcome.
  7. She's actually not too bad imo. I thought she'd look like a skinny anorexic crack whore. I was surprised that there was some meat on those bones. (Giggity)
  8. If anything you can take away my hood pass, but not my man card. lml
  9. I thought it'd make me more of a man to want to plow that drunk skanky chick at the party. I think there's a difference between rockin to "brush your teeth with a bottle of jack" than to be rolling with Lady Gaga's sexually amibigious tunes. Besides, there's a difference between liking the beats and singing along and knowing the words. Although both of them are known for lazy writing and being repetitive as hell so it wouldn't be that hard to memorize the lyrics.
  10. Having said all that, the video I watched from JBay is a million times worse.
  11. Enough drugs and alcohol make anything sound like real music.
  12. I actually like some of Ke$ha's songs. Don't get me wrong, it's absolute garbage like Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift etc but I blast that s*** as I'm speeding down the highway.
  13. I'd go with Stewart over Bryant if he's available. If we get either one though I'm happy.
  14. For the record, Webster and De La Rosa are our 4th and 5th best prospects according to Soxprospects. Dejesus was 36th. I think Sands was in the late teens or early 20's. I personally think Holt is a bit of an upgrade over Dejesus, not to mention the more convenient options.
  15. For what it's worth the Sox helped themselves by clearing some 40 spots which will come useful for the next rule 5 draft. Holt and DeJesus may be a wash but Holt has an option year remaining. For what it's worth Dejesus was our 36th ranked prospect (Pimental was 20th) and Brock Holt was the 18th ranked Pirates prospect by mlb.com. I really have no idea why we did the trade. I don't think Hanrahan is worth it and I think Melancon can rebound, but I don't think we gave up much so I won't lose sleep over it. Meh.
  16. Don't forget that we signed Uehara too. I wouldn't be surprised if this trade was also done to help clear up some spots on the 40 man roster.
  17. KC and Miami won too. That coupled with Toronto winning puts us in even better position. There's a lot to be happy about if you look in the right places.
  18. Woo hooo!! That's how we lose boys! Climb up that draft ladder!!!
  19. Damn it Ellsbury, we're supposed to be losing this game.
  20. Right now we'd have the 8th pick in the draft next year. We're .5 games behind KC and 1 game behind Miami. We're only 1 game ahead of Toronto, and since Pittsburgh automatically gets the 9th pick for not signing Mark Appel last year, if Toronto passes us we go up to the 10th pick. With our schedule, and how crappy our team is playing, it looks like we should most likely have a top 10 pick. I just want to stay ahead of Toronto , and why not pass KC and Miami while we're so close.
  21. I hope he starts every game. Gotta get the highest draft pick possible. I only want Dice-K and Lackey to start games from now on. Hell, bring Schilling back while we still can. WOOO!!! Up yours Toronto!
  22. WOOOOO! If we lose to Toronto we pass them in the reverse standings. No more of their draft pick poaching! WOOO WOOO!!!!
  23. I just hope Toronto sweeps us so we can pick before them in the draft and snipe their picks like they usually do to us.
  24. As long as we pass Toronto in the reverse standings, I am happy. The Sox games are now fun again. Cmon high draft pick!!!! (I'm a Jaguars fan so I'm used to this)
