  1. I agree! He's pitching very solidly so far this season.
  2. Kazmirs back; who remembers 2004 when they faced Kaz?
  3. Let's just hope that avascular necrosis doesn't affect him; he's having an MVP-worthy year so far.
  4. He is a solid backup, and he plays very well and reliably, even if he isn't the superstar of the sox.
  5. If Buchholz can deliver another masterful performance, and the sox can hit, I feel sorry for the birds already.
  6. 10-6 Red Sox; whenever Lackey pitches, he gives up lots of runs and still wins.
  7. Yeah, CC kinda sucked; and how about Joba the Hutt? Another great performance for him. Sorry your boys are too fragile and old to do s*** on the field.
  8. I am so ready. Although, maybe it's not a bad thing if ry lose; in '04 and '07 they lost, opening day.
  9. I'm probably a 3 as well; i obviously try to stay realistic but i like to be optimistic as well.
  10. Joe Castiglione's amazing call of the final play: "A ground ball, stabbed by Foulke. He has it. He underhands to first, and the Boston Red Sox are the World Champions! Can you believe it?!?!?"
  11. At 27, pretty much the youngest guy on the Yankees.
  12. Sorry, but I"m one of those people who at least thinks that JBJ should start the season in the minors; he's only 20, and taken care of properly he could blossom into a legend.
  13. Well, we'll see; teams with really good regular season records in any sport generally do relatively badly in the playoffs. Just look at the 16-0 pats, knocked out in the Super Bowl.
  14. Well, I think at least we can be happy that his brain surgery succeeded. Even if it did help lead to the end of his career.
  15. Ooh, and Don Baylor, who played a big part in the '86 pennant season.
