    Dalbec also has been playing some RF in WOO. It'll be interesting to see if he gets some run out there as we finish out the month. The season is over. The lineups no longer matter. The only people the need to play everyday are Abreu, Rafaela and that's probably it.

    Not really. Bloom maybe could have done well this offseason. The ownership group just didn't want to risk it considering what they saw out of him the past two seasons. There's a difference between "trust" and "ability."

    The comps can't be Ortiz since salaries in baseball have substantially increases since 2016. It was 2006, when Ortiz was Masa's age. JD is a fair comp as any other current player.
