    Yeah, the trade would have been KC instead of Teel, not KC/Montgomery/Teel.

    I'd rather have Campbell or Mayer than Meidroth. Meidroth is a fine player, but has a limited ceiling. He's a guy you can go out and get fairly easily. There are still higher hopes for Campbell and Mayer.

    Baylor's 35 HBP in '86 is the second most for a single season in the modern era. Ron Hunt was hit 50 times in 1971 (led MLB from 68-73 in HBP's).

    Baylor could take one in the numbers for sure. I didn't realize he was 4th all time in HBP.

    Gasper has always hit at AAA so it's nice to see him have a good MLB stretch. I wasn't sure how he'd look at C, but it's been fine enough.

    Getting to 81 wins isn't impossible, but the longer they continue to play uninspiring baseball, the harder it is to make it up in the standings. Being completely inept at home is not acceptable.

    Per Bradford, the Sox are practicing ABS challenges today. I guess since they are last in the league in total challenges, it's about time.

    Baz has a career 505 OPS vs the Sox. He's really eaten their lunch the last two years.

    He's hitting the ball a lot harder than last season. The results aren't there yet on the field, but the underlying data is ok. He needs to keep playing it out.

    Some sort of rebound was always to be expected as many players were performing far below their career norms. There are a few others who are not noted above that have seen increases. IKF's OPS is up 480 points in May. Rafaela is up over 100 points. Also, two players were brought up from AAA that have posted stronger numbers than the players they have taken over for Gasper (756) and Sogard (721). Abreu's OPS has fallen off in May dropping over 150 points. Mayer is also down over 200 points.

    Chris Sale's arm angle is flatter since going to ATL than it has ever been and he's arguably been healthier. Was it the arm angle that made you think Crochet was injured, or the additional IP last year and his terrible ST and mediocre to bad regular season this year? Is Payton Tolle injured now that his arm angle is much flatter this season?
