  1. The extension would be more like what Nola got: 7/172, but with a with a higher AAV. Yamamoto is getting 300M because of his age.
  2. If only we were getting a new stadium!!!!
  3. Porcello has 17 less innings than Glasnow since 2018. Porcello has been retired since 2020............. Sale has 10 more innings than Glasnow in the same period.
  4. True. Snell 2 CY. Lester has 0.
  5. Probably from the dastardly Mariners.
  6. This FO seems better about not letting leaks out? Much quieter if that's their intent.
  7. SD would want too much for Kim. The Cronenworth contract is a nonstarter. Polanco could be a good get. I don't see the Cards trading Erdman at all. Donovan is a LH UTIL/OF that isn't a great 2B. I'd trade for Drury. Not sure what it would take to get him, but I wouldn't give up much.
  8. Yes, the one difference is that we aren't the interest kings this offseason.
  9. Are the Sox the last team that will be meeting with him? Heard there are others that were still interested that haven't met with him yet.
  10. Don't see them getting Kim.
  11. No. Dude has no power anymore. Can barely hit the ball to the LFer. He's like a slow version of Juan Pierre.
  12. That would most likely have to be a trade. I don't think Merrifield really fits that bill.
  13. Wacha and Lugo were not legit targets. ERod was on the Sox' radar, but the other team made a better offer. Gray has a history of ass against the AL East. The inaction may come back to bite them, but the guys off the board right now aren't the problem IMO.
  14. Pedro only had 3 full seasons in MON before the Sox traded for him. Too risky of a move?
  15. If you wait for a significant sample for a pitcher these days, they'll be in their 30's. Pass.
  16. He said it again!
  17. If they don't spend, then complain. I understand the frustration built up over the previous few offseasons, but at least wait until after the big fish actually get away.
  18. Look at post 4316 then comment. It's in bold. Only one poster on here posts annoyingly like that. Obviously TalkSox had a seizure and threw one of your bad posts onto my account.
  19. Why couldn't he pitch more innings in 2020?!?!?!?!? He was injured in 2019, but you need to account for MiLB innings before you can say what he does or doesn't throw on an annual basis. 2017: 145 2018: 116 (promoted to MLB midseason and pitched 30 games out of the pen)
  20. Wasn't Whitlock really, really good at the end of games not that long ago? Doesn't Houck look like a guy that'd be really good as a closer?
  21. I've never posted the "Yamo" slur in my life.
  22. Yeah, he's a 3 ERA guy, not a low 2's. He has the ace upside where you might get a CY season out of him here or there, but he should be solid if he can get innings. He usually has 90th percentile whiff and k rates.
  23. We have to pay more because of state taxes!
