  1. I wouldn't put any limits on Sandoval. That guy is gone after September. Ride him hard and put him away wet.
  2. Just have someone open for Bello. Shelf the starting nonsense until next season.
  3. The pitching injuries are a huge concern. I also don't want to put too many innings on Tolle this season.
  4. A competent CBO can move bad contracts. Unfortunately, the Sox don't have one of those.
  5. Will they have all those arms? Crochet is out. Ranger is out right now. Early is out. Tolle should be on an innings limit. Who is to say what happens with everyone else. Future is murky here. Roman isn't even swinging a bat! Add Bichette? Why? He stinks!
  6. A 3.0 fWAR guy like Story? How could not NOT want Story?!?!? You are almost forced to have him in your lineup!
  7. Don't worry, they are probably calling Bello back up to replace Ranger.
  8. Small brain thinking right there. Story 547 OPS Masa 688 OPS
  9. I have a dad joke calendar and the one from the other day just hit the perfect pitch for me. What did Spartacus say when the lion ate his wife? Nothing, he was glad-i-ator.
  10. The best thing about this series is that people on here will be forced to see how bad Vientos really is and they will stop requesting to trade for him.
  11. The Mets are 21-25 at Home. Peralta has not been good this season.
  12. 1. Keeps him away from the North End. 2. Keeps him out of the already overcrowded trainer's room at Fenway. 3. Takes some pressure off of him.
  13. He's a below average hitter and fielder and doesn't have the crazy pull % that would pop at Fenway. This is just making a move to make a move. Is he playing DH or LF?
  14. Breslow could have moved any of those guys if he wanted to. You just don't have the vision.
  15. His exit velo would be the lowest in MLB. I'm not interested. Not sure the Sox are either. How does a slap hitter like him k over 20%? Crazy. He has less 2bs than Jason Delay somehow. With his speed?
  16. They are still well under .500 on 7/10. Their best pitcher has no timetable to come back. Roman Anthony is in Fort Myers and probably needs surgery. Ranger just went on the IL. They might be on a good run, but it just seems like there is enough weirdness this year that it most likely won't all come together for them. Whether they stay the course, buy or sell, just don't make any stupid moves. That's all I ask.
  17. We can always fine SSS to be happy about, but if Durbin going super Saiyan mode can't even get them out of the doghouse, what does that say about the rest of the roster? The only AAAA guy that I'm interested in is Seigler because he can play all 9 positions and is ambidextrous. He also seems to leave it all out on the field, something a lot of these other guys don't do.
  18. Cheng's 638 OPS is really getting it done!
  19. This stat seems less meaningful this year with how the AL looks TBH.
  20. Yankees without Judge (below .500 team without him IMO). White Sox didn't have Murakami and I think their pitching isn't very good. That team probably fades. I think the Red Sox match up pretty favorably with the White Sox (LHB heavy, mediocre pitching). Again, I think the BAL/TOR/LAD/TBR/ATH stretch is more important. You can make up more ground in the East and have 10 straight at Fenway to show the early season struggles there are put to bed. Recently, they've had big runs prior to the ASG and flopped right after. We'll see what they do this year.
  21. They are 30th in HR and 29th in R. They are still not a good offense.
