    Sox are going to roll with the current group until Memorial Day. I wouldn't expect substantial changes until then. I don't know why Breslow should start sitting guys and sending others to AAA because of a two week sample. Would we do the same after a two week sample in July? Probably not. Only 3 fulltime players have an OPS above 700: Abreu, Contreras and Rafaela. Wong and Masa are over 700, but neither have seen increased playing time. Calling up Cheng isn't going to make up for 6 underperforming starters.

    Futrell just got squeezed out by all the additions. He needs to just keep doing his thing. If he can keep those k numbers up, that's a good sign.

    They lost 3 games: 2-3. They lost one extra inning game. I'm sure there's some luck/SSS involved. They lost all of Early's starts. Ranger's xFIP showed that his first two starts weren't as bad as his ERA. Weissert has pitched better than his ERA suggests too. Sure, they should be 7-8 or 8-7 instead of their current record. Over the course of 162, they get good luck to overcome what we've seen so far. They just need to play better baseball.

    No matter what, they are going to find an excuse to get an extra year out of Early. He only has to be in AAA for a few weeks. They'll send him down for exhaustion or something at the very least. Even just swap him out for Tolle for a few turns.
