    Embarrassing that he couldn't let an innocuous comment like that get under his skin. It would be one things if someone yelled something really personal or threatening, but that? GTFOH. He has to be better plain and simple, but now he made his job harder.

    Next year it would be: Monegro, Jhostynxon, Perales (possibly IL all year?), Wikelman (unless moved) I think Guerrero would be an up and down reliever so has value. I think Fitts would be the spot starter for BOS.

    The fan said something I could have razzed my 12 year old about during a game of whiffle ball. If that's "provoking" Jarren into yelling a slur, then he really needs to go see Matt Young's psychiatrist. Losing your cool over basically "swing batter batter swing" is the most snowflake reaction of all. Now, he's going to get taunted at every away stadium. He's going to need to learn to turn the other cheek and not let it hurt his performance. What a complete dumbass.

    I tried to not go too far back, but Tek/Lowe would be behind Roberts to me. I want to put Pedro ahead of Schilling in 04, but I think Schilling had the better playoffs and much better regular season that year.

    If you aren't more hopeful now than you were last year under Bloom, you have an axe to grind IMO.

    The only issue is that it's adding a few of 40 man guys than may not play right away. Under Bloom, they always seemed to have too many guys on the 40 man (like Hudson Potts) who had no chance of helping the Sox in the near future clogging up 40 man space.

    Alvarez was only with the Dodgers for 1.5 months. He hadn't even gotten into a game in the DSL for the Dodgers by the time he was traded.

    Yeah, it's a great idea if the entire 40 man was up and you didn't have to worry about injuries.
