    Johanfran is a good bat, but his defense may not be good enough to get him to MLB. He may be moved off the position especially since he put on weight this offseason. Not sure that his bat is good enough for a DH profile.

    @alexspeier Red Sox prospect Johanfran Garcia - off to a monster start in 2024 - was carted off the field for Single-A Salem yesterday. For now, it’s been diagnosed as a right knee sprain, but there hasn’t been imaging to this point.

    Twins hitting and relief has been good. Their starters have let them down so far. Doesn't help that they let Gray and Maeda leave. Lopez and Ryan are decent and they'll be in games 2 and 3. Need to take the first game for sure.

    The Twitter account @RedSoxStats was clearly referring to Grissom, yes. I reiterated that with the LOVERS comment since anyone that has even been remotely accepting of the Sale trade has been painted as an unabashed lover of Vaughn Grissom for some reason.

    @JoeyCopponi Among qualified rookies, Wilyer Abreu ranks 1st in AVG (.313) 2nd in OBP (.391) 4th in OPS (.904) 1st in 2B (8) 6th in RBI (12) 5th in BB% (.120) 2nd in XBH (11) Wilyer started off slow, but has really turned it around.
