  1. On Anthony: @redsoxstats His metrics are crazy, as of recently, his 90th was second in all of Double-A w/ very good discipline
  2. @redsoxstats Marcelo Mayer's 90th percentile exit velocity is 106.5 mph so far this year. Last season in MLB, that would have ranked 77th/396. A lot of very strong under the hood metrics for Mayer so far.
  3. You know how I roll.
  4. At least one of them.
  5. They don't even do it for every trade though.
  6. @SmittyOnMLB Red Sox prospect up to 101 mph promoted to Worcester; ‘A big year for me’ On Ryan Zeferjahn's dominant start: 13.2 innings, 0 earned runs, 22 strikeouts, 3 walks, .176 BAA https://www.masslive.com/redsox/2024/05/red-sox-prospect-up-to-101-mph-promoted-to-worcester-a-big-year-for-me.html
  7. Expendable guys or Potential Rule 5: Hickey Kavadas Jordan Yorke Bastardo Castro Gambrell Lugo Zeferjahn
  8. Paulino, Jordan, Yorke and Bleis.
  9. You have to pay to still see ads. You have to pay MORE to get rid of the ads. Aside from the trade simulator, what else of value does that site have?
  10. None of the trades that got suggested on BTV never actually happen anyway.
  11. @SPChrisHatfield As I'd first reported a couple weeks back would be the case, Mikey Romero has been added to the FCL roster as a rehabber.
  12. Don't sell. Just let these guys sit on the bench through September on a losing team then. Sounds great. Why get a return at all? They should have kept Vazquez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Jays have been overrated for a long ass time. Rays are down for now, time to strike. Houston isn't in our division so we can't worry about them.
  14. Maybe this IS the good injury luck and it's only downhill from here?
  15. I don't know where we'll be at the deadline. It's too hard to say what this team will look like due to all the injuries. If they suck: sell. If they are very good: buy. In between: up for discussion.
  16. Roby: 6.94 ERA, 1.54 WHIP in AA Saggese: 765 OPS, 102 wRC+, for a 45 fielding 2b/3b (don't the Cards have a bunch of those already???)
  17. If they go 0-2 in ATL, they are suddenly on pace to be 3 games over .500. Are these two games that pivotal? Pacing really means nothing when you are a team that ties its shoes together and keeps getting injured.
  18. I didn't write those parameters.
  19. 3 games above .500 rather than .500?

  21. Yeah, there's a lot of "decent" but not top end prospects. Nobody that would bring back anything decent at the trade deadline. Fitts is a back end starter. Wikelman is a back end starter, but most likely a reliever. Those are the two guys in the high minors that could be dealt. Perales is too far away. Sandlin is too far away. Sox are probably reticent to give up pitching prospects anyway since their org is hitter heavy.
  22. Yeah, but if you're trading for potential and projection, you're not giving up much for it.
  23. If they are at or near .500, they should sell. IF they are 16 games above .500, they should buy IMO.
  24. B+ Fitts has been good. Weissert has been good. Juidice hasn't pitched yet. They replaced Verdugo on the field via other means.
