  1. In that case, 2021 doesn't count either due to limited fan attendence and constant COVID IL stints for players. Maybe can't count 2022 due to mandated vaccinations that caused certain players to be ineligible at times.
  2. Was Casey Kelly the last time they really gave a shot to a two way player?
  3. A haul the size the Sox wouldn't be able to match. Sox only have a shot this offseason.
  4. I really wish we could have a 2B like Bogaerts that could hit 597 and be paid 280M!
  5. 2020 was a season that definitely happened.
  6. He's been awful for a long time. I don't see it. There's nothing about his stuff that screams Red Sox, Bailey or Breslow.
  7. They aren't getting Crochet unless they wait for the offseason.
  8. Trade Yorke.
  9. Trade Mayer.
  10. Whoopsiedoodle. Tole was going to be ranked after Rodriguez.
  11. Sunk cost isn't a reason to play someone.
  12. Round 6: Blake Aita, RHP @ggeiss_mlb Blake Aita some who has “stuff.” Another big metric pitcher. FB 89-91 t94 with his spin rates and armside run. Low 80’s sweeper with 3000+ RPMs and massive horizontal break. Mid 80’s cutter as well. The command is something he’ll need to work on moving forward.
  13. Round 5: Brandon Clarke, LHP 6'4", 99mph, shaky command, secondary stuff needs work
  14. Round 4: Zach Ehrhard - OF, RH @RotoClegg Boston takes Zach Ehrhard at 115. OF from Oklahoma State. Hit .331/.458/.627 with 14 HR & 25 2B tho year. Elite contact profile: 87% contact/93% in-zone w/sub 20% chase Respectable EVs: 90 mph average/104 mph 90th. Hits the ball at ideal angles.
  15. On Neely: @redsoxstats In the post season last month, he threw 24 innings with 15 hits allowed, 5 walks, and 38 strikeouts. 92-94 T97, with yet again, lower release height and lots of ride and movement.
  16. Sox take two pitchers in the first 3 rounds of the draft?!?!?! That hadn't been done since 2016 when they drafted Groome.
  17. @EdHand89 Notes on the Red Sox third round pick, RHP Brandon Neely. -U of F Gator -Fastball is his best pitch currently. Tops at 96-97 but mostly lives around 93 mph. Misses bats due to ride. -Best secondary pitch is his slider, also throws a changeup + curveball. -Worked mostly out of the pen in college but there are scouts who believe he has the pitch repertoire to be a backend starter.
  18. I already have an SCM summoning doll at home. I think having more than one TalkSox artifact would get me kicked out of the house.
  19. Yes, dicking around with Lester was one thing. When you have a true franchise player like Betts, you do NOT let that guy walk out that door.
  20. 2020 - under CBT 2021 - under CBT 2022 - oops went over thanks to Bloom's JBJ trade 2023 - under CBT 2024 - probably under CBT Two decades of dominance... no longer.
  21. Yes on both counts.
  22. What the hell?
  23. Sale is currently throwing at 5.1 his career low. https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/player-scroll?player_id=519242#release_points The two players are the same height.
  24. Incorrect. I rarely log in on the weekend.
