    Kluber wasn't a problematic signing. However, he shouldn't have been relied on to be anything more than a middle of the rotation guy. Having him be the Opening Day Starter really put the nail in his coffin. The goal that offseason wasn't "sign one guy" but "sign multiple guys." Waiting on Paxton to get healthy instead of signing another arm was foolish.

    I'd rather keep them all too, but people also want to add. How can you add a legit piece without parting with legit prospects?!?!? If you want a TOTR starter, nobody can really be untouchable.

    Fan attendance lags. Just because a player is exciting today, doesn't mean fans will be pounding the ticket office. It takes awhile to gain momentum back.

    Vlad's exit velo is the highest it's been since 21. xBA, xSLG, xWOBA are the same. He has a career high hard hit rate. What is happening now is he's hitting less fly balls. If he hit the ball in the air more, he'd be better off.

    Very hard to deal Anthony or Teel. I could be talked into the others, but Bleis and Cespedes have low trade value being so far away.

    I believe the picks after round 10 are capped, so yes. The drafted others that may not sign, but he’s the big fish.

    Can't always tell when time will catch up with an older player. It was worth the risk.

    Denied. Paxton was injured but always had good stuff. Kluber was getting older but had a decent FIP the year before signing. Syndergaard has had more than enough time since injury to show that he just flat out sucks now. He was overrated as a Met and isn't worth a 40 man spot now.

    Yeah, that's not quite "two way" IMO. With Kelly, he was playing both positions in the same year legitimately.

    Garcia's defense is far behind Teel's. Garcia has a big bat, but even that may not be 1 to 1 with Teel. Mayer is much easier to part with IMO.

    He broke his foot, so I don't think it'll be that soon. Plus, he's not really a SS and will have to find a new position.

    I've heard that he's still outside the big 3. Lots of scouts still don't believe in his swing mechanics (Hunter Pence-esque).

    He'll probably be cheap for his entire career. Trade.
