Scouts? What are those? They've moved towards scouting via watching video rather than attending games because it's cheaper and they believe they can get more accomplished with less $$$.

It's always been "well if he just puts it together, he could be really good" rather than "he's really good." Overhyped. Underdelivered.

"I'm always a starter." "Then go do it in WOO because it's not working here."
  4. mvp 78
Disagree. He doesn't have a pull heavy swing. Lots of his balls would have died in CF/RF.

Breslow certainly loves his LHP. Maybe adding this guy for a few days and seeing what he's got. If he stinks, just swap him out with Bennett for the next Bello turn and DFA?
  6. mvp 78
But they could lose by 8-2 instead! Or maybe even get back to .500 by September!

Breslow doesn't do big media spots like other CBO's. He'll field calls or do one on ones, but won't take the podium unless something very big happens. The only time he as done so this season was after the Cora firing.

Tracey seems fine enough. I think he'll be a baseball coach lifer no matter what happens here. At least now he's getting a nice pay bump.

Bailey Ober was also injured in the game Whitlock injured himself in. Can we get some retractable roof talk in the chat for Ted Sarandis?
  10. mvp 78
Yes! They could send him to WOO after the game.

Breslow is here through this offseason. Strap in everyone. 😶
  12. mvp 78
I'd like another source rather than the guy who lied about the Yankees drafting him twice TBF.
  13. mvp 78
It could have been worse. Frank McCourt could have bought the team.

Why can't Gradum fix Narvy's swing?!?!?!?
  15. mvp 78
Adell! Adell! Adell!!! I want him to play LF and have him head a ball over the Monster.

Rogers has been pretty bad this season. Him carving the new look Sox offense up isn't great!
  17. mvp 78
    Runs at Fenway? IDK.

Yup! It was an unnecessary extension. They did it just to show that they did something that offseason.
  20. mvp 78
Maybe an injured Quinn Priester? That's the best they could do.

Nice quick inning so that Bello can get right back out there!
  23. mvp 78
CY candidate if he goes to MIL.
  24. mvp 78
Lose today and they have to go on the road to play against the AL team with the best run differential this weekend. Chance to really turn this season around in a bad way.

I'm not sure the interim manager is deciding on whether Bello is starting or coming in for the 2nd by himself. That's probably between him, Bailey and Breslow.
