    @MacCerullo Sam Kennedy said there have been a lot of discussions with free agents this week and wouldn’t be surprised if certain deals were imminent. Said he expects a lot of action during the Winter Meetings. That Rich Hill deal is coming soon!

    @ChrisCotillo Sam Kennedy says Red Sox are still engaged with Xander Bogaerts and that no doors have been closed there. On the idea of Bogaerts severing ties with Red Sox: “I don’t have that impression but all we can go by is our desire to bring him back.” He hasn’t told you he’s done talking? “Nope.” Wouldn’t say if Sox will have chance to match outside offers. Sorry, but my pitchfork is still out.

    The problem is the bottoming out years we've had in 12, 14, 15, 20, 22. I think the organization was supposed to be built in a manner that was to smooth out the leaner years. Too much feast or famine.

    It was the people who complained about the Bloom Fan Brigade or whatever. That there were posters being paid by the Sox or whatever nonsense. That's what came first. Nobody cares if you don't like Bloom. People have always complained about the GM/CBO on here. It's a normal thing. Why would people be offended by it now?

    @redsoxstats A year ago at this time the Sox were reported as “one of the three main teams on Javy Baez.” That was a total fabrication by his agent to look good in a headline. The Sox were never going to sign him and were all-in trying to sign Trevor Story at the time unbeknownst to everyone.

    Yes, I know more about baseball than CHB. No, it doesn't bother me if people don't like Bloom. However, it does bother you if people like Bloom. I don't care about him either way.
