  1. November is definitely the best time to do it. And I actually wouldn't mind if the U.S. team was comprised of the top minor league prospects in the country. Give those guys a chance to shine.
  2. I haven't liked Cutler since I heard him say he could throw harder than Favre and Elway in their prime. First of all, that's debatable. Second of all, who gives a f***? Third of all, when you win the big game then you can talk.
  3. Damn, Johnny Red Kerr and Norm Van Lier die on the same day. Sad day for Bulls fans.
  4. Agreed. It's annoying as f*** that he's holding out for a better deal when everybody knows he was dogging it in Boston. Manny being Manny got old a long time ago. I'm tired of his antics and his ********. No amount of money will ever buy this man any class.
  5. That's nuts. You must be accountants.
  6. Moore is a good addition. Marbury, who the hell knows what you'll get out of him?
  7. I don't really see any of these teams having a Cinderalla season. If Bannister can bounce back, the Royals will have 3 solid guys in the rotation. They may be able to finish .500 for a change. But they still need some bats. Renteria will help the Giants, but they also need more bats. Bengie Molina was their best hitter last year. That's all you really need to know. Fred Lewis is an emerging talent. Winn is good but getting up there in age. Rowand's numbers are all over the place. Sandoval could be legit. Their bullpen is atrocious.
  8. Cubs picked Vitters over Wieters. Could be kicking themselves in a few years. Then again, they have Soto.
  9. I don't know if he has a future with the Sox, but it'd be hard to ignore a guy who gets on base so much. Definitely a good guy to have on your bench.
  10. ARoid is sooooo f***ed. What a lying sack of s***.
  11. Yeah, decent. It's just a stupid thing I picked up from an old girlfriend.
  12. Exactly. Look at the Cubs. Big payroll. But a horrible farm system.
  13. Loretta is dece and can play every day. Graffanino is a role player. There's really no comparison.
  14. A salary cap would be good for the game, but at the same time you'd have a lot of fans bitching about it.
  15. Agreed. They may be the team to beat this year in the NL East, but don't talk the talk unless you can walk the walk. Something they haven't been able to do the last 2 seasons. Speaking of Spring Training and the Red Sox, anyone else looking forward to this Friday on the MLB Network?
  16. It's like watching the VP debate all over again. "I may not answer the questions the way that either the moderator or you want to hear..."
  17. He's not Satchel Paige. It's a waste of time. If wants to get back into baseball that badly, he should be a pitching coach or something.
  18. Just sent the money. Don't be alarmed that the return address is a law office.
  19. My dad has 4 herniated discs and is in constant pain. Anyone who calls Drew a pussy doesn't know what he's talking about.
  20. One crucial thing you left out, Crunchy. There was nothing physically wrong with Manny. Drew's injuries are frustrating, yes. But they're legit.
  21. I'm going to laugh so hard when Burnett pulls a Pavano.
  22. I admire his enthusiasm, but middle-aged has-beens with delusions of grandeur who pitched 2 decades ago aren't exactly in high demand...
  23. Yep. There was a 20-character limit, so I couldn't fit Peavy in. Felix Pie was a good alternative.
  24. Ah, I think I got it now. Thanks.
