  1. If Rose isn't better than Rondo right now, he will be in the near future. But you guys have nothing to worry about - for this round. Tyrus Thomas made 3 jump shots in overtime. And that was essentially the game. For those of you who haven't had a chance to watch the Bulls very much, the words Tyrus Thomas and jump shot don't really go together. You'll let him take those shots all day.
  2. Well, this gives the Bulls a chance... to win 1 game.
  3. He'll probably brag that he's able to do broadcasts while he's hungover.
  4. Here's an idea. STFU. When I said they were hot as f***, I kind of took into account what they had just done to the Yankees. That was understood by everyone but you. Quit arguing for the sake of arguing. It's annoying.
  5. But not when I made the f***ing post. 26 combined runs says they are locked in, and you're being an ass right now.
  6. Speaking of not reading what someone wrote... when did I ever mention wins? He's not an elite pitcher, but he's hardly "very average."
  7. Two games now. Don't take out your frustration with your team on me.
  8. They had an offensive explosion yesterday. They beat Baltimore 11-3.
  9. It's embarrassing for Kapler. But let's face it: it was the highlight of the night for Yankee fans. Gotta give the fans something to cheer about...
  10. Wang has looked atrocious, but approximately 3 seasons of effectiveness in a consistently tough division doesn't exactly support your claim. Besides, the Rays are hot as f*** right now. When you're lost on the mound and you're facing guys who are locked in, the results tend to favor the other guys.
  11. What would Ozzie do... start throwing his players under the bus and he'd call himself a terrible manager. It's almost a weekly occurrence here.
  12. Agreed. You can't script it any better than that.
  13. I love Buehrle. I hope he wasn't serious about retiring in 2011.
  14. Eh, Beckett is pretty unlikeable. He's like Greg Maddux's evil twin. Electric stuff and a smug *******.
  15. Colon won't last. I'd be surprised if he gave the Sox 15 starts.
  16. You guys love Swisher now. Just wait, though. He's as streaky as they come.
  17. Why is Bowie still around? Has he posted anything substantive, or am I missing something here?
  18. Pretty meaningless way to die. Especially for a 22-year old.
  19. Gotta agree with Jacko on this one.
  20. Also, Rocky Colavito and Greg Luzinski. And the word "equidistant."
  21. If managers are allowed to challenge balls and strikes with a review system, baseball will have officially jumped the shark, like Lost about 2 seasons ago.
  22. My favorite MLB Network analysts are Dan Plesac and John Hart.
  23. Pretty nice HoF class. His Airness, David Robinson, John Stockton, Jerry Sloan. I did think it was a little odd that Marcus Jordan announced where he was going to college on the same day his dad got inducted. Thunder stealer, or just bad timing?
  24. Sabathia has been an elite pitcher for 3 consecutive seasons. He's started 30 games or more 7 out of 8 years. The only legitimate knock against him is that he's out of gas come October. He won't put up video game numbers like he did with the Brewers, but I seriously doubt he'll be a bust. Burnett is another matter.
